Toronto Polytechnic Institute TPI is a not-for-profit post-secondary education institution operating under a Letters Patent of the Government of Ontario and offering quality professional education to students from all countries. Formerly known as the Canadian Centre for Executive Learning, the Institute has provided technology and management training to thousands of corporate executives and government officials from developed countries. TPI offers international students an array of English as a Second Language courses to enhance their listening and speaking skills, and academic reading and writing skills. Business communication English courses are also provided to help graduates succeed in the labour market. All English courses at TPI are taught by first-class teachers with native English proficiency and teaching licenses. All international students are tested in accordance with the criteria of our Canadian English Benchmark Examinations and then streamed into appropriate class levels. Students learn and progress in an intensive, situational, English-learning environment.
